CONSULTATION
Whether you want a small meaningful tattoo, or a whole body suit, it all begins with the consultation. This is the process that starts the bond between artist and client. All ideas, and reference materials are carefully considered. An honest, and open dialogue is started, and your tattoo journey is on its way! THE TATTOO PROCESS
Some tattoos are simple, and can easily be completed in one sitting, however, some will require more than one visit. Tattooing is an artform, and your patience is appreciated during the process. Your artist will explain in detail approximately how many sittings your custom tattoo will require. Please understand that every attempt is made to be as accurate with timelines as possible, however, sometimes time frames will change slightly due to situations that arise during the tattoo process, and will be explained to you by your artist if and when they occur.
TATTOO AFTERCARE
After the tattoo process is complete, your tattoo will be bandaged, and the following after care instructions are recommended.-Keep bandage on for 2-4 hours, and then remove. -Thoroughly wash your tattoo with lukewarm water and mild soap. Pat dry with a paper towel. Let air dry for approximately 5 minutes. -Apply a THIN layer of ointment such as A&D or Aquaphor. -Repeat these steps twice a day for the first 3 days. After day 3, continue to wash the tattoo as before, but instead of ointment, apply a non-scented lotion. -Your tattoo will begin to peel after a few days, and is normal. DO NOT pick or scratch your tattoo. -Do not submerge your tattoo in water, which means no swimming or baths until it is healed. Avoid direct sunlight to your tattoo while it is healing, and consider using sunscreen once it’s healed to preserve the colours, and increase tattoo longevity.
